Kim Bum & Hwang Jung Eum awarded at Barbie & Ken Awards 2010

The ‘Barbie & Ken Awards 2010′ was recently held at the Crystal Ball Room of the Banyan Tree Hotel in Seoul on December 14th.



On this day, actors Hwang Jung Eum and Kim Bum were respectively awarded as the Korean Barbie & Ken.

It was the first time the awards show was held in Korea, and a total of 18 of the nation’s top designers showed outfits inspired by Barbie & Ken.

Kim Bum & Hwang Jung Eum Enjoy a Gourmet Date in New CF for D’ Maris

Boys Over Flowers (꽃보다 남자/花より男子/流星花园) actor Kim Bum (Hangul: 김범; Hanja: 金范; born Kim Sang Beom, July 7, 1989) recently paired up with actress Hwang Jung Eum (Hangul: 황정음; born December 25, 1984) for a new food CF, and are receiving attention for the special ‘heart dance’ they performed in it.

On October 15th, Kim Bum and Hwang Jung Eum shot a CF together at the D' Maris / 드마리스 seafood buffet restaurant. The story was about a celebrity couple enjoying a delicious date together at D' Maris, where over 500 dishes (including steak, sushi, and spaghetti) are served. After eating steak repeatedly for the numerous retakes of a single scene, Kim Bum joked, ‘If I don’t eat another steak for a while, I would be fine.‘

Aside from enjoying the delicious food, the couple also showed their ‘heart couple’ dance, in which they make a heart shape with their arms. Kim Bum surprised many with his hidden dancing talent, while performing to the D' Maris theme song.

Synopsis

The story happens in one day, and centers around scenario writer ( Lee Da Hae) who is caught in a love triangle with Kim Bum and U-Know Yunho.

Han Chae Young and Park Shi Hoo play the couple in Lee Dae Hae’s scenario, and Big Bang is a group that finds a school that is being shut down and holds a mini-concert for the students.
