Fan-made Wallpapers & Posters of J-Drama "Last Friends"

My avid Juri fan friend Gab found some nice fan-made WPs and posters dedicated to "Last Friends" (Japanese: ラスト·フレンズ; Romanji: Rasuto Furenzu), a well-received Fuji TV jdrama (日劇) about domestic violence, homosexuality, gender identity disorder and trauma.

Some Background:

Ueno Juri (Kanji: 上野樹里) reunited with Nodame co-stars Eita (Kanji: 栄太; Chinese: 瑛太) and Asami Mizukawa (Kanji: 水川 あさみ), in Fuji TV's drama "Last Friends" as Ruka Kishimoto, a talented motocross racer with a hidden secret she cannot discuss with friends or family.

Taeko Asano (Kanji: 浅野妙子), the scriptwriter of Last Friends praised Ueno's acting of Ruka, stating that Ueno is a "natural genius" and that she became "the character itself". Ueno won "Best Supporting Actress" at the 12th Nikkan Sports Drama Grand Prix and The 57th Television Drama Academy Awards for her role.

I too was very impressed with Ueno's acting in this drama but why was she only a supporting actress? She seems more like the lead actress, totally outshined Nagasawa Masami (Japanese: 長澤まさみ; Hiragana: ながさわ まさみ; Chinese: 長澤正美).

Watch Ueno Juri Guest Stars on "We Got Married"

Japan's rising star, Nodame Cantabile's "Best Actress" Ueno Juri (Kanji: 上野樹里) made a surprise appearance on Korea's hottest virtual marriage show “We Got Married” (aired on Saturday night) in September, pulling a surprise on the WGM couple C.N. Blue leader Jung Yong Hwa (Hangul: 정용화; Hanja: 郑容和) and SNSD's Seo Hyun (Hangul: 서현; Hanja: 徐賢). Watch below.

Ep.25 part 1

Ep. 25 part 2

Ueno Juri, who was in Japan to promote her new movie Nodame Cantabile The Movie II, appeared as an assistant chef at a conveyer belt sushi bar in thick black frame glasses. However, Seo Hyun and Yong Hwa didn't really notice Juri chan, because they were so engrossed in conversation. :) In the end Ueno Juri had to take off her glasses and actively called out to them. Finally when the two noticed her she said, "I thought you would notice me a bit earlier. That took a long time."

Jung Yong Hwa made it clear on a radio earlier that she was his ideal type and he exclaimed, "I can't believe Ueno Juri is standing right before my eyes." On the other hand, Seo Hyun was able to show her excellent Japanese conversation ability. She had a flawless conversation exchange with Ueno Juri, "I'm studying Japanese right now but, it's difficult because there's so much kanji."
