Song Seung Hun and Nanako Matsushima in 'Ghost' Remake



Our favourite Hallyu ("korean wave") star Song Seung Hun (Hangul: 송승헌; Chinese: 宋承憲) and ever-so-beautiful Japanese actress Nanako Matsushima (Kanji: 松島菜菜子) will work together in an upcoming Japanese movie which remakes Jerry Zucker's hit 1990 film "Love and Soul" aka "Ghost", starring Patrick Swayze and Demi MooreSong plays the role Patrick Swayze once did, while Demi Moore’s role will be played by Nanako.

The movie is about a love story of a man who is murdered and returns with the help of a spiritual advisor to solve his own murder and to protect his lover.

Three major film distributor companies, CJ Entertainment, Paramount Pictures Japan and Shociku Japan will participate in production. The well-known Japanese director Taro Otani (Kanji: 大谷太郎) who directed popular drama "Gokusen" is expected to be the director.

Song is currently working on his new Korean drama "My Princess" which he acted alongside Kim Tae Hee (Hangul: 김태희; Hanjal: 金泰熙). This drama will be on air in January 2011. As for Nanako, it will be her come-back acting since her last movie "Bizan" in 2007 and Japanese drama "Emergency Room 24 Hours 4" in 2009.

The full title of the movie is "Ghost: Unseen Love". It will be released in Korea on November 25th, and Japan on November 13th.
