Wong, who was a performing guest at the recent The Fun With Liza and Gods Longest Concert, shared some less-known anecdotes about the "Five Tiger Generals of TVB", which comprised himself, Lau, Tony Leung, Michael Miu and Kent Tong back in the 1980s.
When performer Wong Cho Lam pointed out that among the five, only Lau was not romantically linked to anyone in the past, Wong, 49, blurted out that he once thought Lau was gay.
“He’s always together with (former actor) Danny Poon Wang-Ban. They were inseparable on and off the set. I really thought they were a couple. I only found out later that they were not,” he said.
Guess who’s the horniest among them? It was Tong, said Wong.
“Back in those days, every guy was horny, but we hid it well. Only Kent showed it outright, but he defended himself, saying that he’s merely being sociable!”

黃日華12月6號受邀擔任“荃加福祿壽宇宙最長演唱會”的表演嘉賓，被問到“五虎”往事，黃日華直言大爆湯鎮業好色，而劉德華當時與潘宏彬形影不離,更被以為是同性戀。
阮兆祥問到“五虎”往事，例如“五虎”之中誰最好色，黃日華即大爆是湯鎮業。
他說：“在我們的年代，有哪個男人不好色？”只是掩飾得好而已，但湯鎮業就明刀明槍，所以應屆港姐有誰沒有被他... ... 但他說這不是鹹濕，而是博交朋友！”
王祖藍指“五虎”當年只有劉德華沒有緋聞，問黃日華可知他與誰傳過緋聞？他竟直言，曾以為劉德華是同性戀者！
他說：“他喜歡和彬仔玩，即是潘宏彬，他們以前經常出雙入對，無論拍戲或私下吃飯，兩人都形影不離，我當時真的以為他們是同性戀，後來才知道不是。”
