You probably know Song Joong Ki (宋钟基) as the frivolous scholar cum "fashionable clothes rack" called Goo Yong Ha in the recent hit period drama series Sungkyunkwan Scandal (성균관스캔들 / 成均館スキャンダル /成均馆绯闻), which propelled him to fame.
Some might even recognise him as the amiable speed skater Ji Poong Ho from Triple or as the cheeky and flippant intern doctor from OB-GYN.
Dubbed the sunshine boy of Korea, Joong Ki is never seen without a smile on his face. The 25-year-old recently concluded his year-long hosting gig on KBS's Music Bank and had a slow but firm rise in showbiz since his 2007 debut.
Making notable progressions from cameo parts, bite-sized roles to supporting gigs, he finally landed his big break as one of the main four leads in the 20-episodic series Sungkyunkwan Scandal.
Come late-December, fans will finally get a chance to get cozy with this Hallyu star and newly appointed Tony Moly ambassador when he arrives in Singapore this December to commemorate the opening of Tony Moly's flagship store in Bugis Junction and to launch a series of new exciting Tony Moly products.
