Park Min Young (Hangul: 박민영; Hanja: 朴敏英) revealed some behind-the-scene photos from the set of her campus-historical Korean drama "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" (성균관 스캔들 / 成均館緋聞). The photos show us the beautiful Park Min Young wearing traditional Korean clothes and hat, and in another photo she dresses up as a boy. She still looks so feminine even in boyish outfit.
The drama stars rising Korean stars Mickey Yoochun, Yo Ah In, Song Jong Ki, and Park Min Young. For Mickey, it’ll be his official debut role for acting in drama. The drama is set in a Joseon-era school that is attended by the scholars and noble young sons of the day. Then, one young woman who sneaks in posing as her brother and subsequently finds herself in romantic entanglements with her fellow students. (sounded likely the story mixes "Boys Over Flowers" and "Hana Kimi"). Park Min Young plays the character of Kim Yun Hee who takes her sick brother place at school. She dresses up as a male and then meets the male characters at that school. As time goes by Park’s character ends to fall in love to Mickey’s character. "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" is based on the best-seller novel "The Lives of Sungkyunkwan Confucian Scholars" written by Jung Eun Gweol.
The drama is highly expected by Mickey’s fans due to Mickey’s first appearance in drama (hundred fans of Mickey come to first shooting location at Yongin City, Gyeonggi on May 27 to support Mickey’s acting). “We know that expectations are extremely high for the ‘Jal-geum Foursome’ (Joseon-era F4), so the cast and crew are working that much harder in every scene of the show,” an official at production company Raemong Rain was quoted as saying. “We plan to repay the fan’s passionate support by releasing various behind-the-scenes photos and anecdotes on set through the show’s official homepage.” The drama started to air in September on KBS channel and has ended.
